Hi, I’m Sharone – a watercolour artist, illustrator and modern calligrapher! Creating beautiful and unique pieces of art is one of my favourite things to do – it not only brings me joy but I also find it incredibly therapeutic.
After many years of working in a non-creative industry, dabbling on the side every now and again with some kind of creative pursuit, I decided it was time to fully commit to what I was most passionate about after the birth of my son in 2017. And I haven’t looked back! Shortly after throwing myself back into the world of watercolour and learning the art of brush lettering and modern calligraphy, I launched Sharone Stevens Design where I now combine my love of these mediums with my passion for teaching others.
I am proud to say that I am now a Top Teacher on Skillshare, ranking “among the top 1% of teachers on the platform”. I have taught over 22,000 students, many of which have produced and shared wonderful projects from my classes which you will be able to see on the site!
I am also honoured to be an ambassador to Princeton Brushes, a brand which I absolutely love. Having quality supplies really does make all of the difference to your work, and I can’t recommend Princeton brushes enough.
